Budget Helps!

dsc00616.jpgYesterday I went to both Walgreen & CVS and look how much I bought!   I bought:

  • Pert Plus (25.4 FL OZ)
  • 2 Suave Professionals Humectant conditioner (14.5 FL OZ ea.)
  • Herbal Essences Conditioner (23.7 FL OZ)
  • Sunsilk Beyond Brunette Conditioner (9 FL OZ)
  • Tylenol Extra Strength Caplets (10 caplets)
  • 3 Excedrin Sinus Headache (24 caplets each)
  • Excedrin Migraine (24 Geltabs)
  • 2 Energizer Max AAA Batteries (8 count each)
  • Schick Quattro for women (3 count)
  • Schick Quattro Midnight (1 razor, 2 cartridges)

Now for the really exciting part.  My out of pocket cash was only $2.60!  That’s all!  I used 2 $5.00 ECB’s and put $3.32 on my Walgreen’s gift card (roll-over from last month).  Then $19.49 in ECB’s printed out!  I’ll also get an additional $2.50 placed on my Walgreen’s gift card!

If you are not familiar with how to shop frugally at CVS and Walgreen, check out Crystal’s  Money Saving Mom blog.  She has written a very informative post on each!  Click here for Walgreen, and here for CVS!

Awesome job! I love CVS and Walgreens! I’ve only been doing the coupon thing for a few months and I am amazed at what you can get for next to nothing!

Thanks bonnie for checking out my blog! Saving money is wonderful! My husband keeps asking if “They (CVS, Walgreens, etc.) know people are doing this?” HA HA!
